Fast:track seeks compensation
BBC World News (video)
Fast:track, a travel programme on BBC World News for the business and leisure traveller. Thalia Pellegrini investigates why delayed airline passengers find it so difficult to claim compensation.
Many airlines are under obligation, under the Montreal Convention, to compensate passengers for long delays or cancellations. So why is it so tricky to get what's owed? Laws differ, depending on where you are in the world, but globally, airlines seem to be very good at finding the loopholes. Fast:track finds out how you claim you fair share, and meets a Dutchman who's made it his mission to help out.
