Passenger boarding just got easier!

Struggling up steep stairs to board aircraft could be the thing of the past with Aviramp the aircraft boarding ramp system.  Norwich Airport is one of the first in the UK to use the self-contained mobile passenger boarding equipment which is particularly designed for passengers with reduced mobility, wheelchair users and parents carrying small children.

Aviramp which was introduced earlier this summer has already had a positive effect on the way the airport handles passengers with reduced mobility and has improved turnaround time and negates the need for high lift equipment.

Aviramp claims to be the world’s only provider of portable jet bridges.  Graham Corfield, Managing Director, devised the idea in 2009 and launched the product in 2010.  Since then Aviramp has been bought by a number of airports all over the world including France, Italy, Japan, Kuwait and the USA.
