easyJet is a European airline company, so if your flight arrives after more than three hours’ delay and there are no extraordinary circumstances, then you are entitled to compensation which can go up to €600 (£538*) per person.

Example: You are flying with easyJet (EZY) from London Gatwick to Amsterdam. You were due to land in the Netherlands at 11.05, but the airplane eventually landed at 15.36. In this situation, according to Regulation 261/2004, you are entitled to compensation for the resulting loss of time.

If your flight exceeds 3,500 km and your arrival delay is between three and four hours, you are entitled to 50% of the compensation amount.
