Example: Your flight from Stansted to Edinburgh was delayed by 4 hours due to a mechanical issue with the aircraft. This is not considered an extraordinary circumstance, therefore you are entitled to financial compensation of €250 (£0*) per person.
Amount of compensation
Provided that your delayed flight to or from Edinburgh Airport falls under Regulation 261/2004, you are entitled to financial compensation. The amount of compensation is based on the distance of your flight:
