Liverpool is a European airport. Therefore, if your delayed flight departed from Liverpool and was not affected by extraordinary circumstances, you may be entitled to financial compensation of up to €600 (£532*) per person.

Example: Your flight from Liverpool to Amsterdam was delayed by 4 hours due to no crew being available. This is not classed as an extraordinary circumstance, therefore under the EC Regulation 261/2004, you are entitled to compensation of €250 (£222*) per person.
